Roofing is a high-risk industry, and at Commonwealth Roofing we put time and resources into making sure that safety is literally no accident. Besides the obvious need for fall protection, other hazards such as slip-and-falls, electrical shock, heat and cold injury, cuts, burns and eye injury must be anticipated and prevented. To this end, we work with our national, regional and state trade associations, OSHA, insurance carriers and others to set policy and do constant safety training for all employees. These include seminars, webinars, and classroom training and are topped-off and reinforced in our crews’ daily toolbox safety talks and weekly safety meetings.
